Yes! You read the title correctly! This chocolate cupcake topped with whipped chocolate frosting is decadent, moist, and so incredibly delicious! I think what I love most about this cupcake is that you could make it simply like in the picture, or you could use it as a base to make something so much more elaborate and extravagant. It's just that good of a recipe!
Chocolate Cupcakes
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup brewed coffee
1/2 Tbsp espresso powder
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp cup dark chocolate cocoa powder
1/3 cup sour cream
1 egg
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
